December 2018 - Jacksonville Victorian Christmas [Image]

Our chapter once again participated in the Jacksonville Christmas Parade, and Jim Martin II brought out the SOHS 1946 Ford Fire Engine formerly from the City of Ashland that Jim and his crew restored in 2017-2018.

Santa and the Elves (and others) enjoyed being in the parade.
Thanks to Mike Trump of SOHS for the photos.

April 11, 2015

The Holly Theater asked us to provide some cars for their entry in the Pear Blossom Parade. The honorary chairman of the Holly Theater this year was Hollywood actor Jim Belushi, who is a staunch supporter of theaters and who is building a home in the Valley. Rick Black, Jerry Mathern, and Dan Doss proudly drove their A's in the drizzle to the cheers of thousands of weather-prepared parade viewers.

February 21 2015

After today's meeting, we toured to the Jacksonville home of Dave Rasmussen to see his collection of concours vehicles. We then motored to the Back Porch Barbeque for a delicious lunch. It was very spring-like today and 9 Model A's joined in the fun.

April 19 2014

9 Model As, several modern cars and 19 members toured from our meeting place to the home of Terry Schultz in East Medford to see his two Cadillacs and 4 DKW motorbikes.

Afterward, we toured to the nearby Centennial Golf Club for lunch and a group photo "on the green.

March 15 2014

7 Model A's and as many modern cars toured up Hwy 140 to the Russ and Susie Webb Radio Museum today. We saw wonderful old radios and met two really special people.

After touring the museum, many of us stopped at the Apple Peddler Restaurant in White City for lunch.

October 2012

Rogue Valley A's toured to the local recycling plant in White City. Here the cars are lined up by the dump truck

Stan Funeral

In April 2013, we sadly toured to Yreka California to attend the funeral service of our fallen member Stan Ellison.

photo In May 2013, seven Henry's Lady and Rogue Valley A's members and 7 Northern California Model A'ers took the train to Hickory Corners Michigan for the grand opening of the MAFFI Model A Museum at the Gilmore Museum Complex. Pictured is the Hickory Corners 14 at the Portland Amtrak station on our way home. Great trip.
